Our Turkey started out at Giant Eagle....
then home to the freezer....
Decided we needed some pie....
Since 47 lbs of turkey takes a LONG time to thaw...
and some defrosting...
And then all hell broke loose. I wish I had taken pictures. Cooking for 28 people turned out to be the most challenging/rewarding thing I have done (not counting our wedding) in a loooooooong time. But the results were fantastic, and everyone had a great time. And left with full bellies :)
And for that we give thanks :)
